DEIBA Interest Group

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and Allyship at DELTA

DELTA’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and Allyship (DEIBA) Interest Group welcomes all DELTA colleagues to join us in helping one another become more supportive and understanding of DEIBA challenges and opportunities. Members with diverse backgrounds and experiences are united by a common interest in treating all DELTA team members equitably, respecting individual differences and helping ensure that DELTA strives to maintain an inclusive, diverse and supportive environment for all employees. We aim to work with DELTA senior leadership to: 

  • Foster diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and allyship within the DELTA culture and into the services we provide.
  • Incorporate conversations about DEIBA within DELTA-wide meetings and communications.
  • Make recommendations to DELTA senior leadership about best practices and resources in matters related to DEIBA in the workplace 
  • Share resources and opportunities for participating in DEIBA activities, both within and external to the DELTA organization. 
  • Highlight/spotlight DELTA projects or initiatives that are advancing DEIBA on campus.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborating with others on DEIBA-related projects and initiatives.
  • Lead by example in our interactions with others.
